Jess Bonham is a visual artist recognised for her distinctive concept-driven aesthetic. Her playful imagery explores the translation of objects into striking still life photography and moving image.

Drawing on a broad and eclectic mix of influences, Jess reveals the beauty of her subjects through highly art-directed set design. Narrative, colour and bold juxtapositions reshape familiar forms, often with an injection of humour and surprise.

In her personal and commercial practice, Jess prioritises creating imagery entirely in-camera, embracing the challenge of building ideas physically wherever possible. Jess also embraces hybrid approaches in her commercial work, combining practical camera techniques with digital post-production processes to best serve the concept and strengthen the outcome. She has honed her technical skills to seamlessly adapt to briefs, and apply a consistent methodology across both stills and motion formats.
